Update Lightroom CC 2015.6 and Lightroom 6.6 and Guided Upright new Tool

Update Lightroom CC 2015.6 and Lightroom 6.6 and Guided Upright new Tool

On June 8 2016 Adobe launched an update for Lightroom CC 2015.6 and Lightroom 6.6 as well a new version of Camera RAW 9.6. The improvements are faster previews, new camera and lenses support and a new tool, the Guided Upright.

Now in terms of “fast”, the new version of Lightroom is faster and now it’s using the GPU in a proper way: the previews are faster, even the 1:1 both in Library and Develop modules.

It also offers tethered support for Canon 1Dx Mark II, Canon 80D and Canon 1300D/Rebel T6. The new tool they’ve introduced, the Guided Upright it’s in a new panel called Transform in the Develop module: it has some bugs with the Constrain Crop check box but overall it’s useful to straighten the image.

Lightroom CC 2015 dehaze feature

A few weeks ago Lightroom CC 2015 introduced this new feature called “dehaze”. The feature does what the name implies: it removes or adds haze. The adding of haze is not that impressive for me but the dehazing or the removing of the haze it’s another discussion. I used the feature on four images madeContinue Reading

Even though I usedContinue Reading
