Photography Motivation: Don’t just wait for things to happen

The New Year is almost here. It’s that time when everyone is making promisses to himself (or herself) on the things he or she will do in the next year. Are you one of those people? Of course you are! I’m also making plans and thinking of things to do and goals to accomplish!

The big thing is to execute. I think of things related to my photography. I want to grow this channel over 20k subs next year. I want to improve my skills as a photographer. I want to create better videos and maybe post even more often than 3 times per week. I want to make 2017 the best year: the year when I work harder than ever!

But these are not just words. I mean, anybody can speak words! You can say things, I can say things! The important part is the execution! You say you do it then figure out a simple plan and go for it! Too much plan or too little can ruin a good idea.

The best ideas are the ones that get executed and implemented … otherwise it’s just an idea. I stated my goals for 2017, some of them … the big ones and I’m already starting to work to make sure I’ll make them happen … I want to make them real. Because at the end of 2017 I don’t want to make the same plans again. You know that people that always say how they’re gonna do that and this and they never do it … so they keep making the same statement, set the same goals over and over.

I don’t want to be that. I want to execute! What are your goals for 2017. What are top 3 things you want to accomplish in 2017: related or not to photography!
