Price per person depends on the number of persons in the group and your demands of accommodation and meals. The price will also include picking you from the airport and transportation through the duration of the tour.

Our lens will first focus on the vibrant medieval city of Brașov, where Gothic architecture meets bustling modern life, offering a rich tapestry of urban and historical subjects. We’ll then venture into the picturesque countryside, exploring the idyllic villages of Măgura, Peștera, and Șirnea, perched high in the mountains, providing stunning panoramic views and authentic glimpses into rural Romanian life. Here, the interplay of light and shadow across rolling hills and traditional homesteads will be a photographer’s dream.
The journey continues to the UNESCO-protected gems of Sighișoara, a remarkably preserved medieval citadel, and the enchanting villages of Viscri and Biertan, home to extraordinary fortified churches that stand as testaments to centuries of history and cultural fusion. These architectural marvels, with their imposing walls and intricate details, offer unique photographic opportunities. Finally, we’ll explore the elegant city of Sibiu, with its grand squares, historic buildings, and vibrant cultural scene, providing a contrasting yet equally compelling visual narrative of Transylvania’s rich heritage.

This photo tour is designed for small groups from 1 and up to 3 persons and can be booked all year long. This way you can benefit at maximum from this tour. For price details please contact me at tb@tomabonciu.ro with the subject “Request tour Transylvania”.
Here is a rough schedule of the tour:
Day 1: we meet at the airport and drive to Moeciu (a
picturesque village near Brasov where we’ll be accommodated)
Day 2, 3: we photograph in the villages from the area (Măgura, Peştera and
Şirnea)
Day 4: we visit and photograph Brasov city and then we leave for the city of
Sighisoara, a stronghold that is still inhabited and we can accommodate right
there
Days 5: we explore Sighisoara and old fortified churches that are in the UNESCO
heritage (Biertan and Viscri)
Day 6: we leave for Sibiu
Day 7: photographing and exploring the old part of Sibiu
Day 8: leaving to the airport
Depending on your flight schedule and the airport it may require you to book an
extra night at the end of the tour just to be sure we arrive in time for the
airport. This detail is going to be discussed in the email.
There is also the possibility of adding extra days to the tour if you feel that you want to stay some more in one or both locations.
