In this speed editing tutorial using Lightroom CC I’m retouching a landscape photo made in Dolomites Mountains at Cinque Torri (The Five Towers). In the photo I have some flowers as foreground elements and the stone tower formations in the background.
First I’m checking Enable profile correction, Remove chromatic aberration, adjust the Masking for better Sharpening and also add some Luminance to reduce the noise in the photo. All these adjustments are easy to make in Lightroom: it involves just checking some boxes
Then I’m shifting the color temperature toward blue and also add some green tint. Increase the detail in the shadow and highlights, adding some clarity and vibrance to the overall image before starting to do some local editing.
Now I’m using two Graduated Filters to decrease the Exposure in the sky and clouds and to increase the Exposure in the flowers in the foreground. In the end a Radial Filter is used to draw the eye to the subject of the photo: the Five Towers.
